Hydra is the robot we built for the 2025 REEFSCAPE season. Hydra led us to victory at the Finger Lakes Regional in Rochester on March 15, 2025!
We are SO BOTZ team 6911, located in Orangeburg, NY, from Tappan Zee High School. We are an FRC team that was founded in 2017. Tappan Zee High School’s SO BOTZ First Robotics Competition team is designed to combine the team members’ interests with a collaborative spirit and foster gracious professionalism throughout the process. The main purpose of SO BOTZ is to seek and provide resources that allow team members to learn technical skills and build leadership qualities. SO BOTZ provides a platform for young students to move forward as a team. We recognize that it is important to create an enjoyable, meaningful, and motivating atmosphere for the team.
